Ecological composition and a wide range of colors
The basis is linseed oil, the other components are mixtures of natural waxes, oils and color pigments , thanks to which we can offer a wide range of color shades already in the standard offer. The colors can be mixed with each other, so you can easily handle requests for special color variations. If 40 basic colors are not enough, we offer other options in the form of reactive or non-reactive preparations for coloring wood before the final protective layer. The next one will only be up to your imagination.

Unlike other wood oils, Rubio Monocoat products contain no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and are environmentally friendly.
Safe to use in the kitchen and on toys
Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C and RMC Hybrid Wood Protector meet the EN 71-3 standard and are completely safe to use on wooden toys, kitchen tops, dining tables, etc.
For food contact
Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C is fully compliant when applied to a wooden surface.
Instructions for use
- Sand the surface of the wood carefully, any previous coating must be removed. Vacuum with a vacuum cleaner and remove the remaining dust with RMC Cleaner.
- (applies only to the 2C version with accelerator) Mix oil with accelerator (1-2 minutes) in a ratio of approximately 3:1 (3 parts oil A and 1 part accelerator B).
- Once the surface is dry after cleaning, spread a small amount of RMC Oil Plus 2C oil (with a cloth, sponge or polishing machine fitted with a beige pad). Work in sections of 5 – 10 m2.
- Allow the oil to react for a few minutes and then wipe off any excess oil (with a rag or polisher fitted with a white pad). Wipe each section within 15 minutes. The surface must be dry to the touch! Complete the entire work in the same way.
- In a well-ventilated room, the surface can be used 24-36 hours after application.
Maintenance with water and RMC cleaning agents can be carried out after 5-7 days. Rubio® Monocoat must be used for maintenance as a guarantee for long-term durability and surface resistance.

Rubio Monocoat
The company Muylle-Facon was founded in 1906. It produced high-quality putties and sealants for woodworking companies and glaziers. Over time, production expanded to include construction chemicals, focusing on waterproof materials, water-resistant coatings, and sealants used in construction.
In 1962, the first range of products aimed at wood treatment and protection against weathering was introduced.
