INSTRUCTIONS FOR RECEIVING GOODS FROM THE CARRIER
When receiving the package, please follow these instructions:
Pay special attention to the outer packaging, such as the surface of the cardboard, protective tape, and any minor damages or tears, especially punctures or deformations of the package corners. These signs may indicate careless handling of the package during transit and possible damage to the goods inside. If you notice any of the mentioned or similar signs indicating unauthorized access to the shipment or potential damage during transport, report this to the driver before signing the delivery note.
WHAT TO DO IF THE PACKAGE OR ITS CONTENT IS MECHANICALLY DAMAGED?
Insist on writing a damage report or, alternatively, a confirmed record of the state in which the package was delivered and any additional damages. This will make it easier to handle any future complaints and minimize potential losses. Inform us of this situation via email at info@topepoxy.eu. We will then contact you regarding the shipment of replacement goods or handling of the complaint.
WHAT TO DO IF DAMAGE IS DISCOVERED AFTER THE CARRIER HAS LEFT?
GLS: The complaint process is based on the conditions provided by General Logistics Systems Czech Republic, s.r.o., ID 260 87 961, with its registered office at Průmyslová 5619/1, 586 01 Jihlava (GLS). Obvious violations or damage to the packaging can only be disputed at the time of delivery. The extent of damage or partial loss of the contents must be documented on the GLS Damage Report form at the time of delivery. Complaints against GLS must be made exclusively by the Shipper (usually the orderer and payer of the shipment), in writing, either to the correspondence address or by email at reklamace@gls-czech.com. Complaints regarding non-apparent damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery, otherwise, the right to claim compensation is forfeited. Other complaints are subject to a one-year statute of limitations. The complaint procedure can be downloaded HERE.
