    Starbond Heavy Thin CA Glue EM-40 Super Glue

    Starbond Heavy Thin CA Glue EM-40 is a medium-thin “finishing” super glue used for final wood surface finishing. It is easier to use than Starbond Super Fast Thin EM-02, as it is less watery. This thin super glue has a slightly thicker viscosity than EM-02 but is still thin enough to penetrate most cracks, fractures, joints, wood pores, and metal inlays.

    Starbond EM-40 Heavy Thin is very popular for achieving high-gloss wood finishes. Applying multiple coats, sanding, and polishing create a waterproof seal on wood.

    • Viscosity: 40 cPs (similar to olive oil). Penetrating capabilities up to 0.01 mm
    • Bonding time: 5-10 seconds
    • When properly stored, the product can last for several years in a cold environment
    • Be sure to store the bottle at 4 °C (40 °F) before and after use to achieve a 20-month shelf life after opening
