    Starbond Black Medium-Thick is a high-quality medium viscosity black cyanoacrylate (CA) super glue. It is ideal for concealing or repairing imperfections in wood, filling voids, and accentuating specific areas in your projects. Starbond Black Medium-Thick can be used to fill cracks, holes, and knots in wood. It is fast-drying and can be sanded and polished to a high-gloss finish.

    • Viscosity: 500 cPs (similar to the viscosity of syrup)
    • Penetrating ability up to 0.2 mm

    • Store the bottle at 4°C (40°F) before and after use to ensure a 20-month shelf life after opening

    Professional Tip

    It’s important to note that colored CAs have extended curing times due to the added rubber compound. While the curing time is typically 40-60 seconds, it may take much longer to dry when larger amounts of glue are applied. In such cases, it is highly recommended to use Starbond Accelerator.

    Použil jsem ho už na pár projektů ze dřeva. Rozhodně s ním kupte i aktivátor. V menším množství se dá krásně brousit bruskou. Při větším množství lepidla (1x1cm a 5cm hloubka) bez aktivátoru lepidlo nevytvrdne ani za 3 dny. S aktivátorem vytvrdne v pohodě hned a dává se ve více vrstvách. Při broušení větších ploch polité lepidlem (např 5x2cm se mi lepidlo připékalo na brusný pás i při malých otáčkách brusky a pak měnilo barvu a už to nešlo vrátit. Na větší plochy příště použiju epoxid. Na vyzpravování menších děr po červotoči a malých prasklinek je to ideální volba, zateče všude
